Energy Investment Professional Committee (EIPC)

The Energy Investment Professional Committee (EIPC) is under the Investment Association of China, a business association committed to China’s energy transformation and green investment, and is China’s largest investment-oriented NGO. EIPC has more than 1,000 energy professional organizations and members and serves to evaluate, recommend and research proposals, energy projects and technologies to provide expert technical and policy input and outlines recommendations for China’s energy market.

On January 11, 2020 EIPC set in motion a “Zero Carbon Initiative” which served as the basis for preparation of its two key reports to the Chinese Leadership. On November 8, 2020, the first report was delivered at the Shanghai Import Export Fair: The Executive Summary Report on Zero Carbon Investing that was followed on April 20, 2021 with the Full Report on Zero Carbon Investing: an approved roadmap of guidance of well researched evaluations of critical technologies to drive down carbon emissions through technical and policy applications.

In June 2021 at an EIPC online conference EV was invited to make a well received presentation of the main components of its technology which served as its introduction and validation as a well vetted and approved technology approach for China. EIPC serves as a clearinghouse for technology that has been vetted and EIPC is relied upon by many in China’s energy sector as providing a “seal of approval” critical for Chinese industry and finance to adopt technology solutions for their projects.
